FinnMETKO 2024 once again offered an excellent opportunity to showcase the latest innovations in the forest machinery sector last week. This year, the technologies on display, particularly e-mobility and intelligent control systems, garnered significant interest from industry professionals. The newly revamped layout of the exhibition grounds provided the perfect setting for a successful event.
Focus on E-mobility and eKit48
E-mobility was one of the hottest topics at the event. HYDAC’s new product, eKit48, received particularly positive feedback. The solution’s energy efficiency, sustainability, and suitability for heavy machinery sparked discussions, indicating that the shift toward environmentally friendly technology is advancing rapidly and attracting interest. Fusion System and AI-Powered Human Detection
Our Fusion system also attracted considerable attention, especially the AI-powered human detection feature on display at the exhibition, which utilizes cameras to enhance safety, among other things. This is just one of the many features offered by Fusion, which can be added to existing machinery. Remote live video monitoring, integration of multiple displays, as well as WiFi and mobile connections are examples of features that can be integrated into Fusion. These make Fusion an excellent choice for modernizing mobile work machinery. If you missed the exhibition or would like to learn more about Fusion, feel free to contact our product manager in charge of the system.
Tip Control and xCrane Pro
Tip control seemed to be one of the key themes at the exhibition, not just at our booth. Our flagship forest system, xCrane Pro, which brings tip control to mobile work machines, attracted a great deal of interest from exhibition visitors. The system offers precision and control, enabling efficient work practices for all operators. Read more about xCrane Pro or explore our other forest systems here.
A big thank you to all visitors and partners. It was great to showcase our latest innovations, and we hope to see you again at Metko in two years!
The next exhibition is fast approaching as we head to the Subcontracting Fair in Tampere at the end of September to talk about our contract manufacturing services. More on this soon.
