xCrane Plus brings new Technion control mode to the cranes without sensors.
The xCrane product family has expanded with xCrane Plus and xCrane Pro. With xCrane Plus, the operator can select between the control modes easily from the touch screen display between three control modes: traditional mode, parallel mode and new Technion mode. It suits perfectly for both new and retrofit cranes. For the cranes with sensors (sensors in slew, lift, outerboom and boom extension) we provide xCrane Pro control system which offers all the features of the xCrane Plus.
- Technion mode: When steering a lift boom also a boom extension moves to a targeted direction without separate steering. Hence, boom extension moves either by using boom extension joystick or by using the lift boom. If needed, operator can steer the boom lift regardless of the boom extension´s direction. The Technion mode makes loading and unloading work phase significantly faster.
- Parallel boom mode: Crane control functions as it would be a paraller crane even it´s not equipped with the parallel boom. What´s even better is that the parallel boom mode functions as a tip control mode if you activate boom extension from the touch screen.
- For the cranes with sensors (sensors in slew, lift, outerboom and boom extension) we provide xCrane Pro control system which offers all the features of the xCrane Plus. You can choose between four control mode: traditional mode, parallel boom mode, the new Technion mode and tip control mode. With the tip control mode operators can control the tip of the boom instead of controlling each cylinder separately which adds productivity. xCrane Pro has also other useful additional features. It enables automatic movement limitations in overload situations and it has end cushions for lift boom, outer boom and slew which in turn increase well-being at work and the lifetime of the crane.
All xCrane products are perfect solutions regardless of the hydraulic solution. The system is designed to adapt with multiple mobile crane applications. You can install it on the existing systems of forest harvesters and forwarders, trucks, and trailers. It is also used by machine manufacturers.
